Peradi Profesional Inaugurates 2026-2031 BOARD, WPO President Appointed As Vice President

JAKARTA, Matanews  – The Indonesian Professional Advocates Association (PERADI PROFESIONAL) marked the establishment of a modern,

Integrity-driven legal organization with the inauguration of its 2026–2031 National Board at the Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta, on Friday, 8 May 2026.

Chairman Prof. Dr. Harris Arthur Hedar, S.H., M.H., stated that the inauguration represents a critical milestone in building a moral movement and legal institution for the future of Indonesia’s advocate profession.

He confirmed PERADI PROFESIONAL’s legal status through Ministry of Law Decree No. http://AHU-0000086.AH.01.07 Year 2026, dated 27 January 2026.

“PERADI PROFESIONAL exists not to create division, but as a response to the evolving challenges of the digital era and modern legal dynamics,

”Prof. Harris said. “The honor of a professional organization is defined by the quality of service and integrity of its members.”

The organization will focus on advocate education reform, organizational digitalization, national legal aid, strengthening professional ethics, and developing international capacity for Indonesian advocates.

In a virtual address, Vice Minister of Law Omar Hiariej emphasized the need to reform the advocate recruitment system and standardize ethics enforcement across organizations.

Attending with KPK Vice Chairman Johanis Tanak, expressed hope that PERADI PROFESIONAL’s principle of _“High Quality, Ethical, and of Strong Character”_ would translate into action amid the expanding role of advocates under the new Criminal Code.

The inauguration was attended by state officials including Vice Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Purwadi Arianto,

House Commission III Member Habib Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi, BPKP Head Muhammad Yusuf Ateh, former DPD Speaker LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti, and hundreds of advocates nationwide.

WPO HIGHLIGHTS STRATEGIC LEGAL-PEACE SYNERGY

The World Peace Organization (WPO) expressed pride and its highest congratulations on the appointment of WPO President Prof. Dr. H. Bambang Herry Purnomo, S.H., M.H., Ph.D., as Vice President of PERADI PROFESIONAL for the 2026–2031 term.
